Nowhere to Hide

NOWHERE TO HIDE

US, 1987, 91 minutes, Colour.
Amy Madigan, Daniel Hugh Kelly, Michael Ironside.
Directed by Mario Azzopardi.

An action-thriller with a military conspiracy. The star is Amy Madigan, offering a leading lady the opportunity to perform well in a pursuit and vengeance thriller. She plays a military wife, well trained in war games, whose husband is murdered because he was investigating the manufacture of forty helicopters. Those investigating the murder are also killed - and she has to take refuge with a friend of her husband's in the mountains. Still pursued, she is able to break free and confront the guilty General. David Hugh Kelly is the husband, Michael Ironside, more sympathetic than usual, is the friend and John Colicos is the general. The material is familiar, but it is done with some flair and set amid beautiful mountain scenery.
