The Iron Glove is matinee material from the '50s. It is set in the period of the rebellion against the Hanover line in England and the attempts by James and Bonnie Prince Charlie to take the throne.

The film has espionage, action adventure, fights and duelling. Robert Stack attempts a British Isles accent as the hero. Alan Hale is his hearty companion. Ursula Thiess the heroine who changes loyalties.

The film is much as might be expected - and was directed by William Castle who was to move into the horror area with such films as Homicidal, The Tingler.
