Flashfire is a fairly routine and brief picture of police corruption. Billy Zane is the intrepid hero. Louis Gosset is smooth as the ultimate villain. The film involves murders, insurance plots, arson. Direction is by veteran Eliot Silverstein (Cat Ballou, The Happening).
