Oh Men! Oh Women is a 50s style comedy, focusing on the battle of the sexes and psychoanalysis. It was written for the screen and directed by Nunnally Johnson, veteran of many comedies and dramas of the 40s and 50s. It gives a starring role to Dan Dailey, is one of the last Ginger Rogers's starring roles. David Niven gives one of his typical performances. Tony Randall is introduced and set the tone for a long career playing weak men and hypochondriacs. Barbara Rush also has a starring role.
The film was glossy, filmed in Cinemascope - the type of film in those days meant to entice people away from their television sets.
