Breach of Faith: Family of Cops 2

BREACH OF FAITH: FAMILY OF COPS 2

US, 1996, 95 minutes, Colour.
Charles Bronson, Angela Featherston, Diane Ladd, Joe Penny
Directed by David Greene.

Breach of Faith: Family of Cops 2 is yet another police thriller with Charles Bronson, a sequel to Family of Cops. At 74 he is acting as the patriarch of a police family - yet gets to solve all the problems himself.

The film focuses on the murder of a priest in Wisconsin. The film also focuses on the Russian Mafia and their spread in the United States during the early '90s. The film highlights the difficulties of the police in pinning down the identities of the Mafia, their ruthlessness in their business deals, the terrorising of the policeman's family. There is also a subplot about a role for young children and their potential for violence. Routine - but entertaining in its way.

There was a third in the series.
