Special Profession Anniversaries this week
For many decades up to 1965, February 26th was a key profession day (with August 5th as a special day for Brothers’ professions).
2025 sees some special anniversaries. Today we note 70 years of MSC professed life.
Patrick Sharpe, many years in MSC education, notable in art.
Paul Castley, many years in MSC education, in MSC parishes, in pastoral supervision, spirituality.
Brian Taylor, most of his ministry, decades in Japan.
Russell Andersen, most of his ministry, decades in PNG.
Michael Fallon, many years in MSC education, university chaplaincy, retreats and conferences, writer, especially on Scripture.
And in remembrance, Adrian Meaney, Kevin Barr. And, in remembrance, The Ark, and all the novices and novice masters who sailed therein!
