The Laity of the Chevalier Family have sent out this Lenten activity.

CARBON FAST

The 40 days of Lent remind us of the 40 days that Jesus spent in the desert, fasting from earthly temptations to prepare spiritually for public ministry. This Lent, the International Council of the Laity of the Chevalier Family (LCF) invites you to make changes to your lifestyle to more fully “be on earth the Heart of God”.

The Pope invites us to build a civilisation of love (DN 184) and to care for our Creator, each other, and the home we share (LS 14). At the 2024 International LCF Assembly, we committed, as an international family, to do our part to care for our common home. The Carbon Fast is one way we can work towards our commitment.

 

The Carbon Fast will be released daily on Facebook and Instagram.
